September 13th at 9:13 p.m. weighing

in at 7 pounds 2 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long.

So obviously the pictures are out of order but here are a few from the hospital to home! She is just the sweetest little thing and Jesse and Aspen are so cute with her. They love her to death and always want her around (we are crossing our fingers it stays that way!)

Christmas morning! Tom and Jesse both got bikes for Christmas and so needless to say we have spent a lot of time outside ridking them!

Jesse at his Nursery Graduation! He goes into primary this year so we will see how this goes! (considering I just got him to go into nursery by himself 3 months ago!) Aspen in her Christmas dress!

Decorating Gingerbread houses at Ga-Ga's house! Every Christmas Eve we go to my mom's to decorate "candy houses" and get ready for Christmas!

We actually got a picture with Santa this year! It is a miracle! We have gone 2 years with just circling santa and not sitting on his lap! He was actually really excited even though it doesn't look like it!

So we have now had 2 days of snow-3 days out palying in it and have had so much fun! Now Tom can't piss and moan about Las Vegas never having a white Christmas! I'm all for it for a copule of days but it is such a production to get out of the house I don't know how much I would want to do it every time I left the house for months!!!

So Jamie Poort saves the day again with pictures since my camera is still on the fritz and so I have her to thank for documenting the day! We had Jesse's Birthday today at the park-who knew that it would still be 105 degrees at the end of September but we powered through it (sweating more than I would have liked) and the kids had a ball. We had been getting things for a couple of weeks for his party and so I don't think that he thought the day would ever come but it did and he had so much fun with his friends! And we are very suprised that the pinata actually made it to the party. And it was so good to see some of our friends that we hadn't seen in a while.

I don't know if all of you who are mothers are like me but every year the day before a childs birthday and the day of I can relive exactly what I did down to the hour that I had them. And so that's what I'm doing now since his birthday is tomorrow but I went in @ 10 p.m. the night before to get induced.

I am so blessed that Jesse was able to come to me! I love him so much and know that he is a very special spirit that I could feel even before he came here to me! I am so blessed to be a mother and wouldn't change it for the world. Although there are sometimes I don't know if I'm going to survive -Jesse is my best friend in the sense that we do everything together-we have our jokes and he makes me laugh so much with all of the cute things that he says and does. And there are the moments that he will learn something new or finally get something that he has been working on for awhile and he will look at me with a light in his eyes that makes me happier then anything else ever could. And when he hugs me it makes me feel so wonderful and so complete. Although you won't be able to read this Jesse I love you so much! Thank you for letting me have the opportunity of being your mother!

Busy September!

So I have no photos because the camera is on the fritz-actually the cord from the camera to the computer is on the fritz and so I have no recent photos. We have been so busy with everything but I really can't tell you what! Jesse started a little preschool that a couple of girls in my ward and I trade off weeks doing. It got off to a rocky start but we got it figured out. He loves it! He gets so excited to go and it is so cute! He is also in a community basketball class-the teacher is one of those people with God given patience. 12 2-3 year old running around with basketballs!

For those of you who know my sister Michelle she is having a little boy in December! 3 boys!

Maybe it's just me but I can't figure out how to erase pictures after I put them on here so if anybody has any tips let me know. So these are the pics from the Georgia-Florida trip! SOOOOOOOOO much fun! I really had a good time and Jesse loved playing with his second cousins. Everything went a lot better than I though it would considering I flew down first with Jesse and Aspen and then Tom met us down there. Supposedly he had to work but I think that he just wanted a couple day vacation:). If anybody has ever had an anal steward on a flight it was us-but he wasn't working the flight, he was sitting on our same row across the aisle. The people behind Jesse were talking to him and playing with him and so he was standing up in his seat talking to them (the fasten seat belt sign was not lit) and he told me to have him sit down and buckle his seat belt because it is the airlines policy. I told him that I pick my battles and that was not one of them-we are all lucky Jesse is not screaming his brains out right now (which happened later in the flight before he finally fell asleep) and that I wasn't worried about it. So them he goes and tells the stewardess to tell us the same thing-she did and I told her what I told him. I'm so glad that I've finally learned to stand up to people that are unnecessarily in my businesss. But really-when have I ever let somebody run all over me:)!

Most of you have seen some of these pictures but it is few and far between that I can get a picture of Jesse that is not blurry (he NEVER sits still long enough of me to take a picture!) and so I have to put these on here. And plus I love how good of a job Jamie did on them.

We are back from our "family reunion" in Georgia/Florida but I have to wait to get the card from my mom's camera so that I can put pictures up. I am in the process of trying to potty train Jesse and I hate to tell this but the only place where he can relax enough to pee is in the shower and so we have balloons in the shower for him to play with while he waits to pee.

So my friend Katie commented that I needed to update the blog before I did and my comment to her was that nothing new was happening in my life so what am I supposed to put on the blog. Well I've been thinking about that comment and after thinking about all of the things that I am grateful for and the things that I have been reading about that are and have been taking place in war torn countries I feel stupid and selfish saying that there is nothing exciting happening in my life! I couldn't be more grateful for my family (Tom's and mine) and my family that I grew up in and am still growing up in. I am SO grateful to have been born into the church and have that in my life to bring me peace. I'm blessed that there is no drama in my life and that I can wake up everyday and play with my kids without fear of anything! I love my life!

So because of Aspen's stomach issues the doctor told us that her first food could be prunes. Here you have it. She is honestly the sweetest baby (so far) as long as you have her swing near by:).

so if you nkow my family we aren't really into hiking, but Sandy wanted to take the boys up to Red Rock and so we humored her and went . . . and had a good time. Think about it-the boys and rocks . . . what else do they do better?

Jesse's Birthday?

Or so you would have thought. Jesse loves birthdays because whatever birthday we go to we have to relight the candles after the birthday person has blown them out so that he can have his turn. Of course since it was Tom's birthday he even got to open up the presents too.

Jesse and Aspen's favorite part of the day is their bath. Aspen just hangs out in the tub with Jesse-She loves it and has since she was a couple days old.

I am probably the last person that I know to start a blog and when you see how dull my is going to be you'll see why, but this is for the purpose of showing pictures to people of my children and not so much about me.
The most recent pictures are going to come from our trip to Disneyland and Huntington Beach the beginning of May! We had so much fun and the highlight of the trip was when Jesse got to meet Pooh-Bear! He normally has an initial phobia to strangers but he ran up to Winnie the Pooh like he was his long lost best friend! And he actually posed for pictures! It made the 30min wait to see pooh-bear worth it.
The pictures of Tom and Jesse in the ocean are a big deal because notice there are no pictures of me in the ocean!!! The water was a freezing 58 degrees but Jesse was in it for 2 hours. He would come out and warm up his chattering teeth and then go back for more. It was so much fun!
